Til ke Laddo

  • ⅓ cup white sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup peanuts
  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ cup powdered jaggery
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom

Dry roast the peanuts, sesame seeds and desiccated coconut separately. The sesame seeds need to be roasted for a couple of minutes till it releases its aroma but shouldn’t change color, the peanuts till they brown slightly and get a crunch and the coconut should be roasted till it’s slightly golden.

In separate pan add the jaggery powder and three tbsps of water and cook till the jaggery gains a thickish consistency. The best way to check if your jaggery solution is ready, is to drop a little bit of the jaggery liquid into a glass of water and it should form a small sticky ball.

Add the roasted peanuts, sesame, coconut and cardamom powder to the jaggery solution and mix it well

Spread some oil or water on your palms and shape the laddoo while the mixture is till hot
