Cinnamomum verum is a small evergreen tree belonging to the family Lauraceae. CINNAMON is obtained from the inner bark of this tree species which is cultivated extensively in parts of Kerala. The cinnamon in this package is from the kitchen gardens of KANJIRAPALLY ESTATE , Vandiperiyar, Kerala. Although not grown commercially, care has been taken to harvest and process a quality product.
