The Tur dal in this packet has been cleaned by hand; we suggest that you wash it thoroughly as there may still be some dust.  Any chilkha or skin is good fibre with nutritional value and should not be discarded. As no preservatives have been added or applied, this packet is best consumed within 6 months.  This is a ‘single source’ produce that has been cultivated at our farm in the buffer zone of Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka. Here the air is clean and the waters unpolluted. The crop is grown using farm compost and without the application of pesticides.
