Shipments & Returns

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment using the automated shipping solutions offered by DTDC. We also use Speed Post to dispatch to places that are not covered by courier services or if specifically requested by customers.

While this choice is not specifically offered on our website, please feel free to contact us if you have a preference. You will receive tracking information to track your package, whether dispatched by courier or Speed Post.

At the moment, we charge a fixed handling and packaging fee, as well as courier/postage costs. These are subject to change and will be reflected on the website.

While every care is taken to pack the items carefully, your package will be dispatched at your own risk. We take special care to protect fragile objects using eco-friendly materials and appropriately sized boxes to ensure your items are well-protected during shipment.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for all items EXCEPT seasonal offerings.

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused and in its original packaging.
• A substantial quantity of the product must be returned.
• Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

• If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original method of payment.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
• If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund (if applicable).

Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched.

• If the order has not yet been processed, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.
• If the order has already been shipped, the return policy will apply once you receive the product.

Product-Specific Guidelines

Insects in Rice and Dals

Our rice, dals, and grains are packaged in small batches without chemical treatments. If not stored properly in dry and airtight conditions, they can attract weevils. For long-term storage, we recommend using traditional methods such as adding whole dried red chilies to rice and dals and exposing them to sunlight periodically.

Dehradun Basmati Rice

Dehradun Basmati rice has been hybridized over the years, making it difficult to find the original parent strain. We source the most authentic variety available, meeting the criteria set by the Uttarakhand Organic Commodities Board and free from harmful chemicals and additives. However, variations in grain length and fragrance may occur.

Honey

Raw honey is directly sourced from the hive and is not commercially processed. Natural honey varies in taste, color, and viscosity, so the honey you receive may not be identical each time.

Jaggery and Jaggery Powder

Jaggery can develop mold if exposed to humidity. For long-term storage, keep it in an airtight container and ensure it is dry. Airing it out periodically can help prevent moisture buildup.

Late or Missing Refunds

2. Then contact your payment provider, as processing times may vary.
